On Memorial Day, Americans remember those who have died in military service to the United States. THE NATIONAL MOMENT OF REMEMBRANCE is an annual event that asks all citizens, wherever they are at 3:00 p.m. local time, to pause for a duration of one minute in silent tribute to the men and women who have honorably served in uniform and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

BLLA would like to participate in Taps Across America with Taps played at 3 pm on Monday May 26.  In front of Greenwood Landing.

POSTPONED—-BLL painting class, Cocktails and Canvas, will be held at the BLL Clubhouse on May 10. BIG Long Lake's longtime resident artist extraordinaire, Carl Mosher, will be teaching the class this year...and he has a beautiful "Carl creation" for us to paint!! The cost of the class is See Denise, which due to the class size being held to 25, we are requiring attendees pay up front to hold their spot. You can pay Jill Struckholz or Denise Gaff. Carl has determined the class size as he will be assisting painters in personalizing their painting, PAINTING THEME Fireworks
Bring your own cocktails and be sure to be there a little before 1 pm so we'll have the full 3 hours to complete our paintings! Treats will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you there! Paint away the end-of-winter blues while enjoying time with our BLL friends!!!

Join us at Dusk for the ANNUAL 4th of July Fireworks.

Invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy this wonderful spectacular display. Fireworks will be shot off barges from the middle of the lake. (2nd Basin)

In the event of rain, fireworks will be moved to TBA

Please note: the barges are in a “no wake zone”. Please respect the “no wake zone” for everyone’s safety while the barges are out. Large buoys that are dropped stay where they are, as the fireworks have to be in a specific location per permits. These are temporary and will be removed after the fireworks. Have a safe holiday weekend!

At this time we are looking for Military service men & woman active and retired to participate in a short boat parade to the playing of Taps.
